Curbsnot Skateboard Zine from the UK

Curbsnot is a bad ass D.I.Y zine from the north of England, Yorkshire to be exact. If your trapped in all these ad filled American skateboarding magazines, feast your eyes on Curbsnot and you will feel the real raw skateboarding and music scene of England.

To make it real simple for you, Curbsnot is the Lowcard of Europe. All B&W and printed on recycled paper. The writting is great, it seemed more like a skateboarders journal.

The things that caught my eye the most were the trip that the Curbsnot crew took to the Basque Country. You will see a lot of familliar looking pools & spots. These guys do it the real way, no fancy hotels or even hostels. It's drive untill you find somewhere to sleep, that you wont get robbed at. Stopping at places like La Kanterra, Leoia and Gurnika on the way.

Also featured was an interview with a punk record company called "Zandor Records" which caught my eye along with an interview with "SSS, Short Sharp Shock" which is worth a read. After that they hit some Full Pipes, Ditches, and of course Curbs.

If you google Curbsnot, you won't find anything. That's how rad this zine is. No hyped bullshit. To get a copy in your hands hit up Leo at curbsnotzine@yahoo.com. Thanks again Leo, Send me the next issue!
